... No but it should it be?
This is the law, adapted for my use and doesn't mention all the horrible things you can do to companies with social media and the web if they don't pay. Who will work for a company who will not pay their bill? I have been lucky throughout my career as a photographer and designer, I have experienced slow payers but not non-payers... You may not have been so lucky? Well you have to be cold and logical about it. First you are in the right if you have done work, it was good, the client liked it, invoice was correct at agreed price (that should be documented).
OK - now 3 months on - they have not paid, you don't want to upset them by getting pushy or getting heavy with the law - you might loose them as a customer?!? Well you already have! You cannot protect yourself or this industry if you roll over and kiss good bye to the hard earned monies.
Never work for them again, get your legal advice - it's yours. https://www.areyouowedmoney.co.uk/services/
